Dr. Julia Burton

Julia graduated from Massey University (Palmerston North, New Zealand) with her degree in Veterinary Science in 2022. She then spent two and a half years working at a busy companion animal general practice in South Auckland. Her favorite parts of the job include dermatology cases, talking about preventative care, and getting to know all the lovely pets and owners who walk through the door. In June 2025, she decided to move over to Canada to escape the dreary North Island winter and landed in BC, where she got to enjoy a second summer and saw a squirrel (and other critters) for the first time in her life! In her spare time you will find Julia in the kitchen baking, reading a good book, or occasionally exploring the great outdoors.
